YMS joined forces with The Three Bears Foundation Charity and opened the doors of 23 Stonegate to visitors during York’s first Georgian Festival (3rd to 6th August 2023).
Visitors from all over the globe called in and enjoyed tea/coffee and home baked cakes.
Thanks to Dr Richard Thompson for guiding tour groups around the building on the Saturday and to local historian, Mike Doss, for leading a ‘medicine and operations in Georgian times’ walk around York on Sunday.
The event raised £2050 which will be donated to The Three Bears Foundation. It will be put to good use raising public awareness and help to further medical research and support the families that have been affected by pancreatic cancer
