Members enjoyed a morning visit to the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds, planned before the pandemic but postponed by lockdown.   We were given a special talk about the current exhibition, “Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll” (which lived up to its name!).  Then we went behind the scenes – a vast store of books and medical equipment which stirred memories for some of us – and finally toured the public display along with lively but fascinated school parties.  Lunch at the Roundhay Fox rounded off the visit with good food and good conversation.
