Professor Edgar Jones: Program leader for the MSc in War and Psychiatry at KCL, he has written extensively on illnesses suffered as a result of military service.
Edgar is Program leader for the MSc in War and Psychiatry at King’s College London.
He has written about and researched extensively into the health of returning, traumatised army veterans and the challenges facing them in the transition to civilian life. More recent research has been into moral injury; an enduring belief of having been wronged, when service personnel have been compelled to act in ways that feel wrong . We hope to be joined by medical colleagues from the Queen Elizabeth barracks in York; a major centre for the training of army medical personnel.
